 what are the units expected in an ideal Info. Tech. Dept of a bank/financila institution
CIO, IT departments, Personnel Admin & Organizational Mgmt (PA/OM)
i wish to know adequately the ideal units that must exist in an IT department of a bank. i have been managing a department for some time and i have only the following: Information Services unit for branch and head office support, Business Support unit for the database managemnt, e-payment unit for managing the e-payment channels(technical), engineering unit for 1st level troubleshooting and fixing of hardware problem for the users and network infrasturcture unit for managing the network.
