What are the best personal VPNs
VPN
I have been behind`a router for over a year. Now I have to go through public access points. Last time I looked into personal VPNs HotpointVPN was recommended. Now I have heard that are problems with that service. Is hotpointVPN still good or can you recommend another one?

If you want free this one is great:

Wall Cooler Personal VPN

But if you got money to spend I would go with Checkpoint (the leader in software vpn's)

I used to use Hotpoint but moved on since hearing about its vulnerabilities.

I'v e had excellent results traveling all over the world with Surf Bouncer VPN.

if you want to use a separate box you can get an old pc and build an IPCop firewall. not only will it be a great firewall for you it also has the capabilities for VPN. It will log all traffic coming in and going out. If there is a breach then you can check the logs to find out where it came from.

Also you can use any other personal vpn service. Something like canadian VPN Privacy - one of the famous vpn services
