 What are PTF?
Program Temporary Fix, PTFs
I have beed trying yto figure out what is PTF and what is the significane of this in As/400. Is it similar to License programs.? Thanks, Siddharth

Is there any relation between PTFs and License programs? If yes how??

Hi,

PTF’s are updates to licensed programs and/or the operating system. From the PTF reference you can normally tell which licensed program the PTF is for (xxxxSS1=OS, xxxxBR1=BRMS, etc).
