 What are career options/career paths for future on an entry-level SAP consultant?

Hi,
I'm currently a senior Finance major and am in the midst of interviewing with a firm in DC for a consulting position in the financial services industry to act as an SAP and Oracle consultant. As my background is in Finance, I have several questions about the field, career options, and career growth:
what should be expected as a starting salary as an SAP/Oracle Consultant?
What is the demand right now for consultants-- are companies in need/will continue to need these services from outside consultants?
What are future career options after acting as an Associate/Sr Consultant for several years? (Where else are these skills transferable to, management roles from this experience, etc)
What are the top firms that employ SAP/Oracle Consultants?
