If you are the admin of your network, you can simply type the IP address of the router in a browser and access the webinterface (you will need to prode authentication) and then you would be able to create a new WEP or get the existing one for your phone.

If you’re trying to get on someone else’s wireless network, it might be as simple as asking whoever runs it if you can hop on board. Just be careful whose wireless network you connect to…

First, can you explain what your question has to do with this thread? If you can’t, then you should open a new question. When you do that, please explain what you are writing about? What “ip adress” are you asking about? What kind of device are you using? Why do you care or need to know about the address? Those questions help us understand what you really need to know.

Most comments above apply here, too. Also, if it’s “you[r] router”, you should already know the address because you would be the one who set it. And if it’s not your router, you shouldn’t be caring about its IP address.
