When I tried to install Websphere MQ V6.0
To iSeries 9406-270 running OS/400 V5R3M0 the following massage appear
*PGM Object for product 5724H72 option *BASE release *First not found on DEV(OPT01)

Are you following these directions? RSTLICPGM? are you sure you have the cd/dvd in the correct optical drive? Use DSPOPT VOL('/*') DEV(OPT01) to see what you have in opt01.

Yes i have the cd in the correct optical drive and i used wrkoptdir there are lot of files related to MQ.

Try putting in the release in the format V6R0M0. Also, there are Windows, AIX, iSeries and Linux versions often all sent in a set. Make sure you have the iSeries CD.
