 Websphere Installation
WebSphere, WebSphere Application Server
Any one help me in this Regrad that I want to install websphere application Server on iSeries , Through my Windows workstation But i want to install making a virtual device on iSeries Pleas tell me that how i Transfer installation files to me iSeries virtual Device (VOPT01) Thanks for your Help

If you want to use a virtual optical device, the installation files (therefore the CDs or downloaded .bin files) have to exist on the iSeries. Create Image Catalog (CRTIMGCLG) and specify the directory in the IFS you want to place the files(STMF). Add Image Catalog Entry (ADDIMGCLGE) when your done loading. WRKIMGCLG, load, then verify and your set to install from your virtual optical.
