WEB SERVER 2003 PRINTER SHAREING ISSUE

Printers, Windows Server 2003

WE JUST SETUP WEB SERVER 2003
AND ARE WANTING TO HAVE A PRINTER SHARE FROM IT
NOW AS U WELL KNOW THE WEB SERVER CANT BE PROMOTED TO A DOMAINE
AND SO WE DONT HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT NEEDING TO LOGIN THE SERVER TO PRINT
SINCE IT'S A STANDALONE COMPUTER LIKE OUR XP'S WE HAVE

AND WHEN THE PRINTER IS ADDED IT ASKS DO U WANT TO SHARE THIS PRINTER
I SAID YES....
BUT AFTER THE PRINTER WAS INSTALLED IT DIDNT SHRE...
SO I DID WHAT U NORMALY DO WITH CLIENT COMPUTER'S
WENT TO PROERTIES ON THE PRINTER AND CLINK ON SHARE, IT'LL ASK ARE U USER U SAY YES....

I GET THE ERROR ( PRINTER SETTINGS COULD NOT BE SAVED. REMOTE CONNECTIONS
TO THE SPRINTER SPOOLER ARE BLOCKED BY A POLICY SET ON YOUR COMPUTER )

NOW I HAVE TRIED STOPING THE PRINT SPOOLER TO ALLOW IT TO LET ME SHARE
IT WAS AN IDEA BY A FRIEND
WONT WORK SHAREING CAUSE I TURNED OF THE PRINT SPOOLER, WHICH BASICALLY MAKES THE PRINTER NOT THERE TO THE OS
I HAVE GONE THROUGH ALL THE SECURITY PERMSSION'S THAT I CAN THINK OF CHECKING..

AND KEEP IN MIND WE ARE LOGED IN AS THE ADMIN ..
SO I'M NOT SURE WHAT I AM MISSING OR IF U SIMPLY CAN'T SHARE A PRINTER ON THE WEB SERVER......EVEN IF THE OPTION IS THERE TO DO SO......OR SOMETHING I'M MISSING WHEN I CHECKED THE PERMSSIONS AND SECRITY

AND IF HE CAN TBE HOOKED THAT WAY THEN I GUESS I'LL HAVE TO LOOK INTO A SERVER PRINTER
