Hi, We have Exchange 2007 running and sometimes the information store service stops by it self and we need to manually restart it. Also every time that the server is rebooted the information store and system attendant service doesn`t start automatically. I need to manually start the services and everything works fine. The server have 4 GB of memory and if we check the performance tab I noticed that the store.exe is using more that 2GB and sometimes more. I don`t know if I need more memory or if there`s anyway to regulate the memory usage of this process.

Answer Wiki:
You have to analyze more regarding the various processes and taking how much memory. Check on the virtual memory also. if your ram size is 4GB, VRAM can be fixed max upto 16GB. This will definitely improve the performance. Last of all if it does not work, then you have to check the server configuration (RAM, processor, hard disk size and their usage), and increase few of the resources based on the available versus the peak time usage ratio..
