I have a new client that has a 4 year old Watchguard SOHO/tc6 firewall connecting to the Internet using SBC's ADSL connection. SBC has provided an Efficient 5861 ADSL modem. The client also has used the Mobile User VPN software from Watchguard to access their server remotely. All worked fine until SBC changed their IP address. After rebooting the modem, they advised me to change the gateway setting on my firewall to reflect new IP address. Did that, incoming and outgoing Internet access is fine, but the Mobile User Software connections no longer connect. They had 5 static IP address configured on the modem, which also changed, and I managed to fix that, but I get no reply from the firewall. As I indicated, it worked until the IP change, so I am missing something in the modem config. Anybody know anything about the Efficient modem/router??
