 Warning message sent in French, not default setting of English
Our organisation uses mailbox limits, that automatically sends alerts to users when there mailbox sizes reach that limit. We use "English" as default language settings, however a user today received the warning message in French! Environment is 2000 Advanced for Exchange 2000 Enterprise

You don’t say what OS is on the client workstation but have you checked the language settings there? In XP, in the regional settings, it is possible to configure so that warnings and system messages to come up in any language supported by the software sending the message. Japanese, Korean, German, etc.
