Hi, I am Jeeva. Our company going to open new branch which is 20KM far away from old office. Both office, there are nearly 75 to 100 computers there. We want to share our data and access two networks as one. Whether I use Routers or VPN connections or MPLS( Managed private leased lines). If routers means, what are specification of routers and other devices. Kindly help me to do this. Regards Jeeva

Answer Wiki:
I think you will need to check the costing..but if MPLS is cheaper better you use MPLS..MPLS will also use router to connect 1 side to another side.. at times some telco will provide you with routers...if you are not provided with routers, you can use cisco routers...they are reliable... --------------------------------------------- MPLS is one way to go, but if you have a decent public WAN (Cable/DSL) connection, then a VPN tunnel is a great option too. Cisco provides several "Small business" devices that are more than capable of a site-to-site VPN - Look for anything with the letters "RV" in the model (WRVS4400N, RV082, RV042, RV120W, etc..)
