Hi,
I would like to know what is involved in upgrading VMware ESX server 3.5 to VSphere 4.0. Any recommendations on best practices of doing this? Here is a list of questions that I would like to know
  • What steps are involved for the upgrade process?
  • How does the upgrade process work?
  • If something goes wrong during the upgrade is rollback possible?
  • Are there any step by step documentation doing this
  • What is your experience for this process?

I talk about that some <a href=”http://itknowledgeexchange.techtarget.com/sql-server/my-experiences-upgrading-esx-35-to-vsphere-40/”>here</a> and provide links to some guides.
