 VPN Routing
If you have 2 vpn routers with 3 connections each (fibre, t1, dsl) and define a vpn connection between them using the fibre connection will any of the vpn packets be transmitted over the t1 or dsl lines? Doesn't make any sense that they would but have network engineer insisting that would be the case.

No, they shouldn't be, unless you define the VPN connection to be created over multiple transports. --------------------------------- I agree with MrDenny: VPN tunnels are typically from host (IP) to host (IP). So unless the router interfaces are all configured to work on the same VPNs, then NO, the VPN traffic will typically be on the physical pathway that is specifically configured to it...
