 VPN Passthrough on CISO 2800
To anyone that can help. I have a ciso 2800 whith an adsl card connecting to a normal adsl connection. At the moment people cannot connect to external VPN Servers thorugh the router. Where do I configure this to allow VPN Passthrough traffic. I have tried created ACL to allow ports 50, 51, 1723 & 1701 and applying them to the interfaces but this has not worked. Cisco 2801 Router. Cisco IOS v12.4 Any help would be appriciated. Thanks

Answer Wiki:
What kind of VPNs are you trying to run through the router? If you are running IPSec, you should open ISAKMP, (UDP 500), and ESP, (protocol 50). Notice ESP is not a port number. It is separate protocol from TCP and UDP. Here is a microsoft link on the subject: http://technet2.microsoft.com/windowsserver/en/library/6e268195-6750-494a-8f19-25d07911926f1033.mspx?mfr=true Without more information on what is being used, I can't really help you more than this. rt
