 VPN access from out of state
I use a VPN address to work my customer service/sales job at home. I want to move out of state (Hawaii). Cant I just work the same( adjusted for time zone) hours in hawaii ? Im told we have no licencing in HI, isn't the VPN address invisable to whre I work from ?

Hi, When a company implements VPN access to costumers or employees, in general, it can be accessed anywhere in the world, given that you have internet access. Of course that VPN access can be restricted to a specified range of IP addresses, states, countries, etc. but in general I cannot correlate <i>a priori</i> a licensing problem that prevents this to be true...

Although it’s perfectly possible to create such a license, it’s not a limitation that I’ve run into for anything like VPN. Perhaps it’s more related to a business license that covers employees under Hawaiian State law.
