Voice Wing is Verizon's answer to Vonage, so yes, it is essentially VOIP. --------------------------------------- But, answering the question, they are not the same thing. Voice Wing is a VoIP service, provided by a specific company: Verizon. I would say, VoIP is the technology behind Voice Wing.
