You’ll find tons of information if you do a search for “ARPANET.” If you’re not familiar with the history of how the Internet came to be, I heartily encourage you to search and read up on the topic. Maybe I’m just a geek, but It’s fascinating reading. Especially since many of the great inventors and contributors of the protocols and architectures we take for granted are alive today.
