Q:
vnc error 11004
i have 2 pc's on lan namely pc1&pc2. pc1 uses dynamic ip

i can connect to pc2's desktop from pc1 through vnc

but not vice versa

i tried after turning windows firewall off
it says connection refused : 10061

Hi,

Which port you are configured for VNC .

The default vnc ports are:
5500 - Listening Client
5800 - Java Applet Server
5900 - Server

open command line and type the command telnet pc1 (or it siP) port number.

ex telnet 192.168.1.1 5500.

and see if its connected.. Also check the settings of VNC server of Pc1 whether you have configured to allow connections.

ok i accepted the incoming connection to port 5900
insted of 5800
& it solves the problem
