		<description><![CDATA[I would say yes. If you are running a large flat network then you will have all hosts in the same broadcast domain. This is suboptimal and there are performance benefits to running VLAN alone.

Other good reason are security and scalability but bear in mind that you need to configure a router or L3 device to route between VLANs. I believe that the 6108 can do this for you.]]></description>
