Hello,

If by VLAN Filter, you mean to apply an ACL to a VLAN interface to prevent inter-vlan traffic of a certain sort, it is simply a matter of creating a standard or extended Access Control List and applying it to the appropriate VLAN interfaces.

If by VLAN Filter, you mean to allow only certain VLANs on a VLAN trunk, you would use the “switchport trunk vlan allowed 1,2,3,4″ command as an example, where 1, 2, 3, and 4 are all VLAN IDs you would like to allow through. You can also use dash notation (1-4).

If you meant something else, perhaps you can clarify?

Thanks!

Ryan
