When I setup my LAN switches, we use one out of band network (vlan) for management. We setup another vlan strictly for routing. If the switches are setup that way, it gives you two options for getting into the web interface, either through the switch’s routing instance, or the out of band management vlan. My switches do not allow web management through a console port. If you know the IP address of the switch, and the http is enabled, the web interface should be available through the IP from any system on the network. You should be able to pug into any port on the switch.
