Network monitoring, Network monitoring software, Network Topology, Solarwinds Lansurveyor, Open source network monitoring
I'm looking for a comprehensive open source (free) package to map and monitor my network environment. I like Solarwinds LanSurveyor but the price is prohibitive. Are there any recommendations?

while not free, Dartware’s <a href="www.intermapper.com”>network monitoring software, Intermapper</a> is one of the best around. it’s very reasonably priced for this type of software.
