you can do by performing following simple step
right clik on toolbar of vb then select choose items then in that dialog box mark on oledbadapter then press ok.then by double clicking on that control the dialog box is open then select new connection then change it to your sql then browse for table name then press test connection then press next and follow the simple steps.
