Vista cached credentials
A user brought a laptop and it was joined to our 2008 windows domain, i set him up with admin rights on his user account. He logged in just fine and did training. He know is trying to log in to his previous domain using his username and password. He gets username or password error. He is using domainusername then password. It seems to not use his cached credentials. Any help is appreciated.

He cannot log into his old domain unless there is a trust between your domain and the old domain.
He can access the old domain after logging in with his current information. It is Cross Domain Authentication.
You should be able to access the old domain by authenticating with:
<pre>DomainUsername</pre> of the old domain + password for that domain.
You can also change the password on a second domain at the CNTL - ALT - DEL | Change Password by specifying the other domain (manually type it in).
