Not sure what it is but the windows update manager keeps on naggin about one update , a essential one that needs to be installed KB948881 Security Update for ActiveX Killbits for Windows Vista - date of release April 4th 2008 My Windows clock says March 25th 2009. If press download to install , a popup window from the Windows Security Center pops up and says - search for updates not possible Later on the WUM says some updates cannot be installed, the ActiveX Killbits security patch. I have had this with third party Antivirus/Anti Spyware enabled and disabled, with IE7, with IE8, I do not know how to solve this. Wait for Windows 7 ?? I hope not or SP2 ?? Any suggestions greatly appreciated

You could choose to ignore it in Microsoft Update and see if that clears things up.
