Not sure what it is but the windows update manager keeps on naggin about one update , a essential one that needs to be installed KB948881 Security Update for ActiveX Killbits for Windows Vista - date of release April 4th 2008
My Windows clock says March 25th 2009.
If press download to install , a popup window from the Windows Security Center pops up and says - search for updates not possible
Later on the WUM says some updates cannot be installed, the ActiveX Killbits security patch.
I have had this with third party Antivirus/Anti Spyware enabled and disabled, with IE7, with IE8, I do not know how to solve this. Wait for Windows 7 ?? I hope not or SP2 ??
Any suggestions greatly appreciated

I tried to install this update manually and with succes, however the Windows Update Manager insists that I search for updates and that the update that is downloaded is ready to be installed.
Not sure where to look know
You could choose to ignore it in Microsoft Update and see if that clears things up.
