Do you have any solutions for the compatibility issues I am having with Microsoft Vista and SQL server Data Engine?

Taking a stab that SQL server Data Engine = MSDE, aka SQL 2000 MSDE, you will need to upgrade to at least SQL Server Express 2005 (plus a few patches) for Vista compatibility.

We would need to know what compatibility issues you are having.
You will need to provide more details (SQL Server version and OS service pack level, at least).
