 Virtualization for Dummies?
I know (pardon the pun) virtually nothing about virtualization and VCB script, but have been tasked with learning enough to configure VCB scripting to backup current VMs. I have been researching, and find there is plenty of information, scripting examples, etc - but nothing very basic that gives me a starting point I can use to make sense of this information. Is anyone aware of any material aimed at the greenest newbie imaginable?

Answer Wiki:
You might start with some of the VCB links <a href="http://vmware-land.com/Vmware_Links.html#Backups">here</a>. Thank you. I found an overwhelming amount of sites that had information, but did finally find a VMWare for Dummies, which was the proper level for me to start out at. http://ca.wiley.com/WileyCDA/WileyTitle/productCd-0470277939.html There is also some great information available on training videos, if anyone else out there is needing to familiarize themselves: http://www.trainsignal.com/index.asp?PageAction=VIEWPROD&ProdID=90
