Hi,

Are there any comprehensive reports/reviews/articles about the advantages and disadvantages of virtualisation? I need the reports/reviews/articles to be objective.

Check out IT magazines like PC World. Virtualization's been written about extensively over the past few years. You will find a lot of articles.

If its management whos asking you to do this, its a wild goose chase. The person/s dont feel comfortable with virtualization. You can point to articles. But a better way to overcome their resistance is to show them what it does. Ask them about their specific concerns, and then answer those.
Stay with it, and you will succeed.

There are going to be so many different opions on this…. ie cost / Hardware / Licensing etc

I did a quick google search here is one of the sites dedicated to the topic.
