Could be, did you replicate all public folders from the one you shut down to the existing one before turning it off? If not, you will need to turn it back on, mount the public folder data base and replicate your scheduler+Free busy folder to the other server.

we had 2 exchange servers earlier, now shutdown one. wondering if anything to do with this?

Also, what is the exchange configuration? Is there more than one mailbox server with a public folder data base? Make sure all public folder stores are replicating to each other. The Scheduler+ free busy folder must be replicating to all servers.

Tom was asking about the permissions settings for the calendar not the properties of the mailbox. What is the setting for “default” permissions on the calendar? Also check tools, options, calendar options and see how many months are published. We used a GPO to set the published months to 12. The default was 3.

When we view the properties the Importance is Normal, Sensitivity is Normal, and the only checked box is Save A Copy of Sent Message. All other boxes are unchecked.

For any account that is grayed out, what Permissions are shown under Properties when that user looks at his/her calendar? What are the Default and Anonymous permissions that show? What other Names are shown in the Permissions list?

Yes these are Exchange accounts version 2003
