Q:
View Hidden Files Windows Server 2000
Hello, I have a Win 2000 Server in a small workgroup. I can't can't see and open hidden files. I tried changing everything in Folder options and editing Hidden and SuperHidden attributes in registry but no luck. It seems some program is running which is creating all the problems. Any help on this would be highly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

If the option to show hidden and system files isn't helping try looking from a DOS prompt. Use the DIR command with the /ah switch to show you hidden files. If this shows you the files, but you still can't see them via the Windows Explorer window you may have a Virus installed. A good virus scanner will probably clear the issue up.
