How can I see what group policy is being applied to my Windows server 2008?

You can use the RSOP (resultant set of policies) snap-in that comes included in Server 2008.

    On the client computer, at a cmd prompt run gpresult. This will tell you what GPOs are applied and which ones are filtered out. Use the Group Policy Management Console to see what the GPO entails.

    To enhance better running of AD use Lepide Active Directory Management and reporting.This will enable your AD, to manage in just few single clicks.
