 Video quality on videochat

i just purchased web cam not so long ago but every time i use it in a call i do not see clear picture of the person who i am talking to. the colors are all too bright, movements come up late and overall experience is bad. on the other side people see me very well. what could be the problem? please help

The quality of YOUR web cam affectes what they see on the other end. The quality of THEIR web cam effects what you see on your side. For your end make sure you have the most current video drivers on your system and you have enough RAM. This is what affects what YOU see, not YOUR web cam.

It has nothing to do with your camera. Many things could affect the quality of the video you receive, including your internet connection speed, available resources on your machine, the software you use to send/receive video, other programs running, etc.
