I am aware of the generic sales issues that CMR can help address:
customer loyalty, sales forecasts, customer mix, promotions and
advertising issues. But looking for publicly available writings, comments or opinions that list (3 to 5) Sales and/or Marketing issues (challenges) that companies face and are unique to just their vertical industry that a CMR application can help a address and overcome. I am interested in CMR Sales and/or Marketing challenges unique to any of the following verticals: Consumer Packaged Goods, Manufacturing/High-Tech, Financial Services/Insurance, Oil & Gas/Energy.
I have attempted to find these vertical industry specific sales issues by researching (Google) the various verticals directly or visiting industry associations for those verticals to no avail.
So rather than a top-down approach I decided to try a bottom-up approach: inquire whether any CRM - experts, consultants or users have researched this issue and have or would publicly share (publish) their thoughts or a collection of other’s thoughts.
