I am trying to back up a couple servers to my NAS. Nas and a few servers reside on domain A and a few servers reside on domain B. I am running into trouble in BackupExec on domain B when trying to add the NAS as a device. Both domains are running srvr 2k3 and the NAS is a procom netforce 800 (unix box). I have a one-way trust set up in windows for the two domains, but it looks like this may be a trust issue. Any ideas?

I had a very similar issue with Veritas Net Backup between 2 domains. let me describe my situation. Domain A = current working domain and Domain B = migrating to domain, Domain A has all File and Exchange date pre migration and Domain B has Net Backup installed with the tape robot etc.. you need an admin account from domain A in the admin group in domain B and the in NetBackup/Backup exec rename you server from server1 to server1.domainb.com or what ever your domains are called plus in domain A rename your media servers and or clients from server2 to server2.domain2.com or what ever you have it called.
I hope this helps.
i also forgot to mention that you must ensure that you have your dns set up correctly, i.e you need entres for both domains in you dns tables etc..
If these servers are on different networks, even differing subnets, you will need to make sure that router/firewall settings are enabled to allow the backup exec traffic to traverse the network boundary.
