Hi I am new to programming. I have DLL written in VB6, and the source code for that is missing, can anyone suggest me how to get the code from the dll. thanks Mayil

Since VB6 DLLs are compiled into machine code, I know of no way to reverse engineer a VB6 DLL back into source code.

    Ah..now you understand the reason that source code repository tools (such as Microsoft SourceSafe) exist. Having done this myself there is no current way to decompile a DLL written in VB6 back to sourcecode. About all you can do is try and remember the specs and start coding the program once again. Unless you were fortunate enough to backup the code on some media you just haven't located yet don't waste a lot of time and make use of a sourcecode repository from now on, it will be well worth your time.
