Ok I have a Dashboard in Excel. On the First Column it reads Knowledge Transfer Requirements and to the right columns B,C,D it has the 3 Impacted Systems Areas.
Ok basically want I am trying to do is once a Knowledge Transfer Requirement is "Complete" for example I want the corresponding cell that has the word complete in it to turn green. Also if it is a KT requirment that is "incomplete" to turn red. How it reads complete or incomplete is by the Matrix we created on another tab. For instance if we update the matrix with a completion date of the KT req. with 07/25/08 the corresponding cell will read complete on the dashboard but does not turn green with the simple code we have in vb editor. A couple of us on this project are not programmers and are unfamiliar with vb. What we want to accomplish is to have that step automated when we enter a date in the matrix to turn green on the dashboard with in the corresponding cell without having to select the cell in range. Also is there a way to automate by just putting the date in and turning it green without having to keep running the macro or does the macro have to be run everytime we update information. Someone please help and shed some light on this please??
