when i try to make my project as .exe format, i get a message that says there is no BINARY COMPATIBILITY FILE SET. i tried to enable that option from the project properties but it was disabled for the users to change it. thanks for your time...

Hi friend!
Firstly, you should remember that, you can’t turn on the BINARY COMPATIBILITY option for any .exe vb project :-). This option is used for .dll or ocx. module only.

For your situation, you should check to know if there is any .dll or .ocx module to which your .exe project refers or not . And then you set BINARY COMPATIBILITY option for this .dll or .ocx module.
