 VB 6, SQL Server 2000 & Crystal Reports
Crystal Reports, SQL Server 2000, VB 6 EE, VB6
i am a developer using VB 6 EE, SQL Server 2000 & Crystal Reports 7 and windows XP & Windows NT platforms. But now i installed Windows Vista. i installed VB 6 EE, but cant work with SQL Server 2000 or Crystal reports. can u please suggest me wat i need 2 do.

By “…but cant work with SQL Server 2000 or Crystal reports”, you mean that you are not able to install them ?

SQL Server 2000 is unsupported on Vista, but I have heard of people being able to install it.

Have you installed other version of SQL Server on that machine before ? (for example, the express edition that installs with Visual Studio express). If so, you might need to un-install all other versions of SQL Server before attempting to install 2000.

I have never done that, so I guess I won’t be able to help you further.
