 Vault Drives in Navisphere
CX500, EMC CLARiiON, EMC Navisphere Management Suite, RAID, SAN, SAN EMC Vault CX 500, Vault Drives
On a Clariion CX-500, my Vault drives host Raid Group 1.  Do any of the luns in this raid group contain vault storage or is that part hidden from Navisphere?  I am going to do some cleanup in the san and want to be sure vault information is safe.  I can't imagine it being otherwise, but want to be certain.

14ALL 15 pts. | Mar 16 2010 6:17PM GMT Just got this answer in literally 3 minutes from EMC’s forum. Vault information is completely hidden from Navisphere access. Navisphere only displays user data. Luns sitting on vault disks in Navisphere can be deleted without any fear of loosing vault storage.
