We have moved 15 of 20 AS400 / iSeries to a new business DMZ.  The five systems that fail range from OS level V4R5M0 to V5R4M0 and system types 50S to 520.  Some failed systems are LPARs where half the systems of the LPAR are functioning with their new IPs while the other half fail.  The failed ethlines show a variety of messages - RCYCNL when SRTHOSTSVR is run / VARY ON PENDING without going active when STRHOSTSVR is run / ACTIVE status on the line with network activity showing on the card but ping fails both outward or from other systems in the new DMZ inward to the failed system.  Our process is to ENDHOSTSVR *ALL / END TCP / Vary off the line / remove routes & interface / enter new interface & default route / update host table / Vary on the line / STRTCP / STRHOSTSVR.  15 out of 20 converted successfully.  Looking for any tips or direction anyone might share to get the other five systems moved.  Thanks for your time and consideration.

Have you gone into CFGTCP and taken option 2 to see if you are pointing to the gorrect gateway for next hop?
