    A power failure for what components? Obviously a power failure that affects networking will make it difficult to send any notification at all.

    How is your system set up to handle notifications of power outages? Have you created a *MSGQ to receive power messages and set the QUPSMSGQ system value to point to that *MSGQ? Do you have programming assigned to monitor that message queue? If so, your programming can send messages anywhere you want them to go.
