Using wireless for active directory connection

Is using wireless as the connection method for our active directory server a bad idea? The server is across the hall from the server room and we do not want to run cables. Bandwith is not an issue and the signal strength is good. Is there a reason to not do this?

I would never hang a mission critical server off the end of a wireless connection. Reasons would include interference which can cause potential packet loss or latency or worse, security is an obvious issue. Personally I would move the server into the server room.
