Thanks. We'll let you know when a new response is added.

This depends on what you are trying to achieve. UAG provides a comprehensive solution for remote access needs- for remote employees or when you are trying to collaborate for partners and customers. If you want a robust and scalable solution for remote access then UAG should be considered. Forefront TMG enables businesses by allowing employee to safely and productively use the Internet for business without worrying about malware and other threats. Among the TMG roles, it could be used as an Edge firewall gateway or a proxy with advanced web security enabled. It provides multiple layers of continuously updated protections – including URL filtering, antimalware inspection, intrusion prevention, application proxy, and HTTP/HTTPS inspection – that are integrated into a unified, easy to manage gateway, reducing the cost and complexity of Web security. It can also provide remote access solutions like publishing applications or supporting VPNs. However if you want a comprehensive remote access solution, which enables more granular configuration (like compliance checks for remote clients) and provides a secure portal for partner and customer collaboration then you should consider UAG for the remote access needs.
