Using remote desktop to connect to our internal Terminal Server and use our internal Web App & DB.

Terminal Server
We are using a web application that was created by one of our SW engineers. There is a lot of IIS config and additional programs needed to run this app from localhost on each machine. I decided to configure our Terminal Server to be able to run this App so I could have people log on to that instead of reconfiguring each person's system one by one. Now that people are starting to use this more and more from the terminal server, should I be worried that this will eventually start causing problems?

Hello
what you need to do for sure is to have your Terminal server as secure as possible, <a href=”http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=402A0CD1-9E4D-4007-8EAF-C30623E71250&displaylang=en”>in this document </a>you can find Microsoft’s guidelines on securing terminal servers.
If the users connecting to the server are mostly coming from the outside (WAN) you may also consider to deploy a <a href=”http://www.windowsecurity.com/articles/Server-2003-Network-Access-Quarantine-Control-Security.html”>VPN Quarantine Network</a>.
Bye
