I am trying to open Licencing on Win Server 2000 to check how many CALS the server has. When I open it I get a popup asking which domain I want to administer, I select our network domain and than it tells me my domain controller doesn't have the service running and closes the Licence Tool. How do I get it to look at my local machine instead of the domain controller. The reason I am doing this is i am getting "computer has reached maximum connections" when trying to acces the file share on the server.
We are runing XP desktops and connecting to a Windows Server 2000. When running "net config server" on the Server 2000 box it tells me I have unlimited connections which is strange?
