 using function key in a subfile field

I'm trying to figure out how to use the F4 on any of the subfile fields to pop up a window and then: select "info" and bring it back to the subfile and populate the subfile field in the correct "order." Is there an easy way to do this?

at a high level, there are DDS keywords that will return the field that the cursor is in as well as the rowid. Retreive these in your program, prompt accordingly, UPDATE subfile record field, and redisplay subfile
