Using ABAP to link documents in R/3
We are wanting to link word documents to transactions (specifically journal entries) in SAP. It can be done manually using object services. It can be very time consuming to access each transaction and and upload the document. Is there a way through ABAP, BDC, BAPI, or any other method to automate the upload or linking process?

I can't remember exactly the solution, but I'll try to give you some directions to investigate...
I think that the documents can be created in background using BDS* FM. I think the documents generated are stored under Office->Business documents->documents->Find
Some years ago, I had to explain an Archivelink example and there I saw a demo report that linked scanned documents with SAP documents using a Barcode. It was in an SAP system from Walldorf, and I don't remember the name of this report.
I found BDS_BARCODE_CREATE_VIA_RFC FM, but I'm not sure.
