Blackberry and exchange where running together on one server (which also happened to be a domain controller). Exchange has since been moved to a new server, along with all user mailboxes. It is now completely operational. The blackberry MAPI profile is also now pointing to the new exchange server. However, when you go to stop the exchange services on the old server it says that it cannot stop them as the blackberry server is still using them. If you stop the blackberry services, then stop the old exchange information store and disable it, blackberry will not start as it says that it relies on exchange to function, even though to new exchange server is still operational. And if you stop both blackberry and the old exchange and then start blackberry again it also starts the old exchange information store. Does anyone know why blackberry still wishes to use the old exchange and how to point it ONLY to the new exchange server? We are using exchange 2003 and BES 4.1 Thanks

Thanks. We'll let you know when a new response is added.

There may be a registry entry which must be modified as well because they were both installed on the same server. Call RIM for support and they should be able to assist you.
